Synthesis Report

The Synthesis Report is based on the reports of the three Working Groups of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The Synthesis Report  provides an integrated view of climate change as the final part of the IPCC’s Fifth Assessment Report (AR5). It distils and integrates the findings of the three Working Groups; WG1: The Physical Science Basis, WG2: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability and WG3: Mitigation of Climate Change.

130 member countries gathered in Copenhagen in October 2014 for one week to approve the Summary for Policymakers sentence by sentence.
