The workshop featured speeches from leading climate scientists, including Rong Zhang (Princeton University) who was back in Bergen for the first time in five years with her keynote speech, "Understanding low-frequency AMOC variability and associated predictability over the Atlanic-Arctic region".
The Bjerknes Climate Prediction Unit is a dedicated team focused on enhancing climate predictions through the use of cutting-edge models and extensive climate data analysis. Their work, supported by the Trond Mohn Research Foundation, is crucial for creating accurate forecasts that support informed decision-making.
The event showed the power of collaboration and the critical role of scientific research in shaping a sustainable future. Thank you to all participants and organizers for making this event a success.
