Polar theme meeting

Dear all!

Our next polar meeting is approaching. Unfortunately we still cannot meet in person given the current Bergen guidelines. Instead, we will continue as last time on zoom with a plenum session first, followed by break-out sessions and discussions:

Thursday the 10^th of December 09:00-11:00

We will start with a short update on Bjerknes activities and the work of the leader group as well as the upcoming calls for proposals, followed by a few short highlight talks on ongoing science and submitted papers. I have a few on the list already, so please email me and Anne asap if you have something you would like to present.

Following this we will move into break-out sessions to discuss plans and visions for the polar group in light of the Ocean Decade as well as the great news that we have another 5 years of SKD funding.

A detailed agenda and zoom link will be shared with everyone the day before the meeting. If weather permits we are considering a polar coffee at Fløyen before Christmas.
