Chuncheng Guo

I am currently a full-time researcher at the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), with a 10% affiliation with NORCE and the Bjerknes Centre.

My work focuses on modeling climate systems in the past, present, and future using Earth system models. My primary research interests include high-latitude ocean and climate dynamics, (ir)reversible climate change and tipping points, and paleoclimate modeling. I worked extensively with NorESM until 2023, when I transitioned to working with EC-Earth at DMI.
