In my current research project SnowDOGS I focus on snow-covered regions and study the interactions between the lower atmosphere and the snowpack. For this I use stable water isotopes and snowpack modelling. I studied Environmental Sciences and my background is in ice core sciences and paleo climate reconstructions. I obtained my PhD from the Geophysical Institute of the University of Bergen and have since worked at AWI in Germany and in Switzerland with the CRYOS group at EPFL and the SLF snow and avalanche research center. In December 2023 I started my NFR funded Mobility Grant where I will be working at the UW in Seattle, the LSCE near Paris and the GFI in Bergen.
