BCCR X-Theme seminar: “Terrestrial Ecosystems”,

Dear all, We are delighted to announce our monthly BCCR X-Theme seminar next week on Monday, May 18th, at 11:00, with the title “Terrestrial Ecosystems”, presented by Anne Bjune (Polar), Christian Quintana (Carbon) and Alistair William Robin Seddon (Hazards). Alistair William Robin Seddon will present "UV reconstructions across the Laschamps Event from Lake Suigetsu, Japan”. Anne Bjune will present “Climate, Crops, and Crisis? - Examining Agricultural Adaptation and Resilience to Climate Change in Prehistory”. Seminar on AI/ML Research at BCCR

As a part of the BCCR Training Programme in Machine Learning, there will be a seminar on AI/ML research at the BCCR on Monday, June 1st from 11:00 to 14:00. We will have two sessions of two talks each, with a free lunch provided in between. The speakers will present their work using neural networks, with a focus on what type of neural network they use and how they help them solve their problems.
