Hi everyone,
Next Wednesday (May 21), we’ll be having our regular Storm Tracks group meeting from 14:00 to 15:00 in room U105 (near the canteen). Qidi will give us a talk about Impact of diabatic heating on cyclone forecast biases.

BCCR X-theme seminar
Dear all, Next Monday, November 17th, at 11:00 will be our next X-theme seminar. The topic will be “Observations across time scales”, presented by Stephan Kral, Natalya Gallo and Jo Brendryen. Natalya Gallo will present on "Mapping Blue Carbon in European Seagrass Beds, using remote sensing, oceanographic data & the new EURO-CARBON database." for Carbon. From Polar, Stephan Kral will present "Fine-scale observational capabilities for polar research at GFI. For Hazards, Jo Brendryen will present on his paper “Paleoenvironments and the drowning of the late glacial North Sea continent”. We hope to see you there! Best regards, Julia and Robin
