Emil Jeansson

I am a Chemical Oceanographer interested in many aspects of the oceans, but with special focus on ventilation and circulation, water mass formation/transformation, the ocean carbon cycle in general, and anthropogenic carbon and the biological carbon pump in particular. My main focus regions are the Nordic Seas, the Arctic Ocean, and the North Atlantic.

I am working with transient tracers, which are used to estimate ages of water masses, and concentrations of anthropogenic carbon in the ocean.
