As an observational physical oceanographer, I focus on understanding (sub-)Arctic Ocean processes in the context of a changing climate. I am especially fascinated by the dynamics in the ocean and the physics that drive it, with research interests including small-scale mixing processes, (internal) tidal wave dynamics and boundary current variability.
