In my work, I use and develop climate models to study oceanic and atmospheric processes, both physical and biogeochemical, covering different timescales and spatial scales. In my PhD (Stockholm University, Sweden), I studied global ocean carbon storage, with some focus on glacial-interglacial climate. As a postdoc (GEOMAR, Germany), I worked on global coupled climate effects of increased ocean resolution in parts of the Southern Ocean. I recently joined NORCE, and here, I will continue to work on climate/ocean modelling, both palaeo and contemporary/future climate, with focus on the polar oceans. Currently, I mainly work in the ABRUPT project, led by Bjørg Risebrobakken, looking at the impact of Dansgaard-Oeschger events on circulation patterns, sea ice etc. in the Nordic Seas and connected areas. I will also be contributing to the development of NorESM.
