Next Monday (9th December), there will be the final Bjerknes cross-theme seminar of 2024. As usual, it is at 14.15, with a topic Mountain climate, including snow, ice, and glaciers. We have 3 presentations 😊

Pratik Kad (Global): The Non-Linear Decline of Snow Cover in Warming Mountains
The seminar will take place in the Bjerknes lecture room (4th floor, room 4020), and coffee and biscuits will be served no doubt!

BCCR seminar: Premiere of the ISOSCAN short documentary
Dear all, and particular all ISOSCAN citizen scientists, you are all invited to join for the premiere of the ISOSCAN short documentary next Monday during the Bjerknes seminar. Climate Hazards meeting
Fabio Mangini will give a talk on "Towards an understanding of sea-level change in the Arctic between 2011 and 2021”, and as usual we follow this talk with a discussion on how (this) research can reach society.
