What is the impact of fires and aerosols? How can we tell apart natural and manmade forces for climate change? These are some of the questions for the PhD students joining the Advanced Climate Dynamics Course.

Henrik Sadatzki defends on Friday 15.02.2019 his thesis for the PhD degree at the University of Bergen. The thesis is entitled: “Sea ice variability in the Nordic Seas over Dansgaard–Oeschger climate cycles during the last glacial – A biomarker approach”.

 

In a new study of a past warm era, Caroline Clotten and colleagues provide evidence for the appearance of seasonal sea ice in the Iceland Sea when global temperatures were 3-4 degrees warmer than today.
