Understanding climate
for the benefit of society

Ragnhild Gya

I did my PhD in plant ecology working on how alpine plants are affected by climate change. I am interested in alpine and Arctic regions and how plants and ecosystems in these areas will change with climate change, and especially changes in species interactions. I am currently doing a postdoc in biologydidactics, i.e. the science of how we teach biology. I am interested in how field and lab courses affect students and how we can improve them for the best outcome in learning, motivation, sense of belonging etc.
