Rhituja Bhorade
My name is Rhituja Bhorade, and I recently joined GFI as a PhD candidate. The project that I am a part of focuses on Arctic-Midlatitude teleconnection mechanisms and predictability. I am from Pune, India and I obtained my bachelor's degree in physics followed by my master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Pune University, India. I worked on my master's thesis which focused on the air-sea interaction during Intraseasonal Variabilities at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM). I am excited to work with everyone at GFI and learn something new every day.
