About
My research interests are seasonal to decadal variability and predictability of climate, with the Tropics and North Atlantic Sector as particular foci. I am particularly interested in ocean-atmosphere interaction, and in the improvement of climate models and in enhancing climate prediction.

European seas climate impact prediction through regional models
Focused on the northeastern Atlantic, North Sea, western Mediterranean Sea, and Arctic Ocean; SEACLIM aims to provide crucial insights into the changing marine environment over the coming years and decades. The project will develop and refine regional ocean models to produce detailed projections of marine conditions in European seas up to the year 2100.

Infrastructure for Norwegian Earth System Modelling phase 2
NorESM is the Norwegian Earth System Model and is an essential tool for researchers to be able to simulate the climate in the past, present and future. The infrastructure project INES2 will upgrade NorESM with new and updated functionality by incorporating research-driven development in a nationally coordinated manner.
