About
Malte Jürchott is a researcher at the Geophysical Institute at the University of Bergen, focusing on understanding large-scale changes over short to long time-periods within the Earth system, such as continuous or abrupt ocean circulation or carbon cycle changes, through the use of global Earth system models.
He worked at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and received his PhD degree from the University of Kiel, where he investigated the large-scale impact on the carbon cycle and side-effects of several marine carbon dioxide removal approaches using Earth system modeling.
