Kaiyan Yao

My project title is Atlantic-Arctic exchanges and overturning variability. I am particularly interested in the low-frequency variability at high latitudes in the North Atlantic and the dynamical processes driving the variability. 

My previous research focused on low-frequency variability of global mean sea level in the past century and millennium. In my work, I analyze reanalysis dataset and climate model outputs.
