Ella Walsh

I am a postdoc working on Margit Simon’s ERC CoG project: "PIONEER”. In this project I will be using leaf wax biomarker analysis on samples from archaeological cave sites in North and South Africa to reconstruct past hydrological and vegetation change. This project seeks to reshape our understanding of how environmental influences drove the development of complex behaviours in early Homo sapiens.
