The Bjerknes Centre is a collaboration on climate research, between the University of Bergen, NORCE, the Institute of Marine Research, Nansen Environmental and Remote Sensing Centre.

Marco van Hulten

Marco van Hulten studied physics.  He received a MSc degree in History and Philosophy of Science.  Then he did a PhD in oceanography.  His expertise is the modelling of trace elements and particles in the ocean. He is working at the Bjerknes Centre on the sediment--seawater interface, with a focus on but not limited to the carbon cycle.
