Follow Erlends Northern Run

On Monday August 2. Erlend Moster Knudsen started off in Tromsø on his 3000 km run through Norway, on the road to Paris. Knudsen finished his PhD in climate dynaics at the UiB and Bjerknes Centre in March 2015, and created his public awareness project Pole to Paris together with his friend and colleague in climate research, Daniel Price.  As Price is now on his way on bicycle to Paris, started off from Australia in the spring. 

The two invites the public to join in for a leg along the way by foot or bicycle. Erlend is currently in Northern Norway, follow his Northern Run online 

The Pole to Paris- project is a public awareness campaign ahead of COP21. The campaign will follow two environmental scientists as they travel from the poles to Paris by bicycle and foot.
